Dog on her bed

We love dogs and welcome them to Tallentire Hall.

Gardener’s Cottage is limited to 2 small/medium dogs or 1 larger dog as  the stairs have a fan turn at the bottom. We are happy to accept medium sized active dogs if you are sure they can manage the stairs, or will be happy to remain downstairs. We request that you check our virtual tour to see the stairs.

Gamekeeper’s Cottage we welcome 2 dogs of any size/breed. There is no enclosed garden with Gamekeeper’s Cottage but there is the dog paddock for free off lead time, or the lawns and woodland for on-lead time.

The Hayloft has an enclosed garden and we welcome multiple dogs there with prior agreement. If you’re happy you have the space and your dogs will be happy then we’re happy to welcome you.

We do request that all dogs be on lead in communal areas as some of our furry guests may be reactive and need a little more space.

Our Dog Rules are in our T&C’s at the bottom of the page.
